San Francisco - California Modern Art Gallery and Mesart.com are pleased to announce REFLECTIONS OF THE BAY, the first annual juried competition and art show to benefit
The esteemed panel of jurors selected over 150 works of art for this event including paintings, sculptures, photography and prints. The jurors were Alan Bamberger, art consultant and author, publisher of ArtBusiness.com, DeWitt Cheng, artist, curator and co-editor of SF Art Magazine and Inga Fischer, owner/operator California Modern Art Gallery.
Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco’s Tenderloin Clubhouse offers a safe place where young people can learn and grow. The Club offers programs in five core areas, including the arts; character and leadership development; education and career development; health and life skills; and sport, fitness and recreation. For just a $10 annual membership fee, the Clubs offer high quality staff, programs, and facilities in an environment that promotes respect, responsibility and fun.
A portion of the proceeds from this exhibition will be donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco’s Tenderloin Clubhouse. Also, artwork produced by children in a competition at the Tenderloin Clubhouse will be on exhibit during the opening of this exhibition at California Modern Art Gallery.
