Outdoor Watercolor Workshop with Clint Wilson
Saturday, April 13, 1-4pm
Emeryville Community Garden ** (Meet at Kala Gallery)
Kala Art Institute is excited to announce a free Outdoor Watercolor Workshop with 2012-2013 Kala Fellow Clint Wilson.
If you like being outdoors, you love all things green, and have any interest in the great romantic tradition of painting "en plein air," join us for an afternoon filled with light, color and wonder. Using water, color, and paper, we will spend an afternoon looking, describing, interpreting, and wandering, in and around the Emeryville Community Organic Garden.
Clint Wilson uses painting, photography, video, sculpture, sound and kinetics to construct inter-media environments that reflect upon states of wonder and magic. Wilson is currently a Fellowship Artist at Kala. He resides in Edmonton, Alberta.
(**Note: We will meet at the Kala Art Institute Gallery, 2990 San Pablo Av, in Berkeley. From Kala, we will walk for 15 minutes to the Emeryville Community Garden located at 59th and Doyle Streets.)
The workshop is free of charge and open to the public, however space is limited.
Please RSVP to Amanda Curreri, Community Engagement Manager, Amanda@kala.org
