Join us for an introductory workshop by tax expert Joe Weatherby, about how artists and artists groups can efficiently track income and expense throughout the year and how to correctly file their taxes. Topics will include; how to account for multiple income sources like, cash awards, honoraria and grant funds as well as travel incomes and per diems. The workshop will also cover how to report expenses accrued during the business of being an artist and what can be legally deducted from your taxes.

Materials will be distributed to everyone in attendance and will include a full deductions list and all applicable Federal and state forms.
