> DESCRIPTION

Thoreau Center for Sustainability will present Ways of Water, a four-artist exhibition opening

in the China Brotsky Gallery on February 7, 2013 and continuing to April 5, 2013. Californian

artists Hagit Cohen, Aline Mare, Helen Lessick and Carol Newborg will each present a body

of work exploring the precious resource of water. Using poetic imagery, metaphor and science

each artist addresses her insights and concerns on the topic of water. The artists’ works in

mixed media, photography, sculpture and installation.
