> DESCRIPTION

Hosted by the Pacific Rim Sculptors Group,

Beyond Gaga is a sculpture and installation Art Exhibition that is fun, sexy, provocative and deliberately unsettling.

Inspired by the performer Lady Gaga's courage to speak her mind and dare to be wild.

We ask artists:   What would you say or do if you were not afraid?

How far can your art go?

This exhibition is not a tribute or a theme show

but a call to artists to push their imaginations to the edge

to make an impression: shocking, awesome, sublime, and outrageous.

Juried by Lauren Baines and DeWitt Cheng

Baines is a curator, arts manager, dancer / choreographer, and arts educator. She is the Project Manager for the Lucas Artists Residency Program at Montalvo Arts Center

Cheng is a San Francisco art writer/critic for Art Ltd., Artillery, Art Voice, East Bay Monthly, Huffington Post, Sculpture, and DeWittCheng.com.
