> DESCRIPTION

Son of Crete is the third and final section of the performance project, The Draft Report. The first two sections (Sounds from the Black Forest I, and II) were first shown earlier this year in San Francisco in May and in Basel last June. This final segment features the artist Rene Paul Strudel, whose life and work also serve as the primary focus of the project in its entirety. The 20 minute performance will take place within Liam's first solo exhibition with the gallery.

We are pleased to announce Liam's exhibition has received several important reviews in Artforum, Frieze, and the San Francisco Chronicle. It is extended through January 5, 2013.

In other recent press, Altman Siegel's solo booth featuring the work of Matt Keegan was selected by ArtInfo as one of the highlights of Art Basel Miami Beach.

Nate Boyce will open his first solo museum exhibition, Plinth Inhibitor, at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Art in Omaha, Friday, December 14. The exhibition runs through March 16, 2013.
