Anahi DeCanio to exhibit at the National Steinbeck Center in Honoring Women's Rights conference celebrating the Women's Caucus for Art 40th Anniversary Exhibition.

Late this summer, women advocates, artists, art historians, curators, and educators are coming from all over the country to the National Steinbeck Center in the Monterey Bay Area for our Pacific Regional Honoring Women's Rights conference celebrating the Women's Caucus for Art (WCA) 40th anniversary. This is a tremendous opportunity to meet and network.

Together, we can make a difference in the world today. Together, we can share diverse connections and discuss our ideas at the Honoring Women's Rights conference and exhibition, and that could reach far beyond September 8, 2012.
The artists that are juried in to the exhibition use art to make honoring women's rights statements and call more attention to the challenges we face today.

We hope the conference and exhibition encourages young people to find their voices and talk about important interesting women's history.
