Nicolas Gonzalez, Jonathan Perez, Minhaz Khan, Isaac Barrera, and Luis Serrano came to America when they were young boys and have grown up to be inspiring activists that hope and fight for equality.  In the series ENTITLED, artist Claudia Marquez photographs five activists who put everything on the line to reach out and inspire other undocumented youth to be proud of who they are and the work they do in order to succeed.

Claudia Marquez is a first generation American from Los Angeles and has recently received a BFA in Photography from California College of the Arts.  As a multimedia artist, Claudia draws inspiration from the struggles of friends and family that have immigrated here and strives to convey the social injustices of undocumented people in the U.S.  She works closely with the San Francisco chapter of the Immigrant Youth Coalition in an effort to help provide a safe space to discuss immigrant issues and to empower and educate the community. She has also participated in both solo and group exhibitions in the Bay Area and Los Angeles.
