FIRE and RAIN, a Blackburn and Friends Debut

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – In celebration of passion, growth and all things that nourish creative exploration, Blackburn & Friends, a group of 9 Bay Area abstract expressionist artists, will be igniting your art loving soul with their inaugural show titled FIRE AND RAIN on view at 600 Townsend Street, San Francisco from September 7-November 14, with a reception on Thursday, September 20th, 5:30-7:30 pm, all are welcome. This diverse group, from a vast array of professions and corners of the world were drawn together by a shared interest to explore and express life experiences through an investigation of color, line, texture and shape.

The fierce passion for non-representational abstract art can be found in the works of artists: Tesia Blackburn, Ruth Brophy, Valerie Corvin, Lynn Glenn, Susan Johnson, Yan Li, Tina Pressler, Lisa Steele

and Janet Yelner.

Blackburn and Friends is a collective of San Francisco Bay Area abstract painters. We are drawn together by our shared passion to explore and express our life experiences through paint.
