El Cerrito-based artist Krishna Khalsa utilizes the repetition of materials and structure to form the basis of her large-scale architectural sculptures. PROJECT: Krishna Khalsa, features several wall based structures that appear to be organically created, as if they have naturally formed from the existing space.
Khalsa uses small wooden blocks to create her sculptures, this creates walls that are both restrictive and permeable.
