> DESCRIPTION

HANG ART annex is pleased to present A-Class, a group show featuring works by recent graduates of San Francisco Fine Arts educational programs. A reception for the artists will be held on Second Thursday, July 10, 2008 from 6-8pm at 567 Sutter St, San Francisco.

A-Class, our annual group show of works by recent graduates, highlights our commitment to introducing talented new artists to the Bay Area. San Francisco has long been recognized as a hotbed of artistic experimentation, with scores of talented artists studying and eventually settling in to build their careers within the art world. As students, these artists are continuously implementing different methods to discover their own creative voices. This show exemplifies this mission of self-reflection. The aesthetic styles between these exhibiting artists are innovative and truly embody the principles of exciting new mediums and artistic invention.
