A BENEFIT TO SHOWCASE ARTWORK AND PROMOTE SURFAID
San Francisco, CA May 23rd, 2012 – A second installment of Board Art Benefit to benefit SurfAid will be held on June 9, 2012 at the Driftwood Salon Art gallery in San Francisco. Twenty five boards, shaped and painted by leading California surf artists, will be shown from 6pm - 10pm. In addition, Humboldt County’s Likwefi will provide musical entertainment, and food will be available from pop-up Hapa SF.
Funds raised will directly support SurfAid’s humanitarian efforts in the Mentawai and Nias islands in Indonesia.
Shapers include Aleks Petrovitch, Jerry Madrid, Merrick Rustia, Erik Baldwin, Mike Schoen, Danny Hess, Bill Johnson, Travis Reynolds, Paul Jensen, Marc Andreini, Tim Bessell, Christian Beamish, Erik Baldwin, Tim Stamps, Robert Weiner, Yohei Shiraishi, Brian Heritage, Jed Noll, Rusty Preisendorfer, John Birchum, Jeff ‘Doc’ Lausch, Mike Hynson and Terry Senate.
