Romer Young Gallery is pleased to announce a guest performance Concentric/Acentric by artist Joshua Kit Clayton on Saturday March 17th, from 2-4pm.
A site specific group action, Concentric/Acentric exists within the frame of Anna Sew Hoy's Tissues and Trench Coats exhibition at Romer Young Gallery. Given a few simple premises in consonance and contradiction with this frame, we will move through introductory exercises, rehearsal, and finally a performance within the larger performance. Please arrive promptly, prepared to act, move, leak, and face your reflection. Bringing tissues and trench coats of your own is highly encouraged, though not required.
Joshua Kit Clayton is an artist, musician, and computer programmer, living and working in San Francisco. His performance and video based projects explore communication, speculation, value, directive, and the space between artist and audience.
