> DESCRIPTION

This upcoming exhibition is composed of plein air paintings by artists who have participated in the Frank Bette’s Plein Air Paintout during the past 5 years.  Paintings are not only of Alameda , but  of other places the artists have captured on canvas in their plein air journies.

Exhibit juror is Seamus Berkeley, a Bay area based artist whose paintings are extensively collected nationally and internationally. He has traveled around the world studying the works of master painters, and in 2005, opened a studio in BerkeleyCA, where he now specializes in commissioned works and holds workshops here and abroad.
