> DESCRIPTION

Please join the 2011 MA Collaborative for an evening of programming for the exhibition opening of Transit/Stasis: Negotiating Movement in the City.

Transit/Stasis features the works of Aram Bartholl, Julie Cloutier, Resonant City, and Christen Sperry-Garcia.

In addition to viewing the works exhibited in the Diego Rivera Gallery at SFAI's main campus, we also invite guests to join us in the artist panel discussion at 5:30pm in the Lecture Hall.

This evening will also mark the release of our publication, which will be available for purchase throughout the evening. We will also have artist posters available for purchase.

In addition to the exhibition opening programs, the reception will include live bands, food carts, and assorted beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, available on campus.

More information about the project and a detailed schedule of events can be viewed on our website: www.transit-stasis.com.
