Described as "a live-variety-show of conceptual origin", Clifford Irving
Show presents a one-night-only composite event dedicated to the launch
of Phantom Rosebuds and reading of the autobiography by the author. As
years pass we shall reconsider familiar questions about the value of
authorship and value itself, along with faith in magic, along with
fakes and trickery, integrity of identity, through the various lenses
of our various international stage acts, including Gary Wilson ("You
think you really know me"), Fia Backstrom, Ayreen Anastas, Robin
Carlson, Rene Gabri, and Kevin Killian, among others. The show will
include a lecture/performance, a live remix of Michel Legrand's "Orson's Theme" from the soundtrack to F for Fake, a lecture on hoax,
and a Prince Cast live. Clifford Irving Show is conceived and produced
by Raimundas Malasauskas as part of F for Park, a project in search of
a parallel science of beats and concepts.
