Silence is a signifier of focus, pause and gaps in knowledge. What we call ‘silence’ is punctuated by other noises or of one sensation highlighting others. This exhibition explores silence, not as an absence of but as a pause. The title, (…), connotes a trailing off or an implication of something else to come. The works in the show examine what is hidden in visual and auditory silence and our perceptions of silence and pause.
