Silicon Valley Law Group, an internationally known law firm has joined the ranks of other local successful firms and businesses who have graciously opened their doors to provide an alternative art space to artists.  Like the Heritage Bank, and Bill Gould Design, SVLG is not an art gallery per se, yet SVLG provides a sophisticated venue for exhibiting and viewing artwork.

Currently on view is the work of local artist Bette Linderman, a respected mid-career artist who has a long-term relationship to the South Bay.

Linderman's work often stems from passages found in various literary works, utilizing text as a starting point from which to meditate on themes of loss and remembrance.  Use of rich, saturated color combined with layering of imagery, text and surface techniques achieve the textural depth which has become the signature look of Linderman's work.    While many works are initially conceived around memories of loss and sorrow, they evolve into larger musings and reflections that encapsulate fond and pleasurable memories as well.
