The non-profit ICB Artists Association presents Winter Open Studios: 80 Hot Artists under one Warm Roof. Melt. Fall in love with art again Saturday December 4th and Sunday December 5th from 11:00 to 6:00. Sausalito is home to one of the largest art colonies in the country, gathered together under one roof in the industrial building known as the ICB. Discover exceptional and unique works of art and get inspired by their creators. Painting, Fiber Arts, Sculpture, Digital Arts, Printmaking and More. Artists of all media share their art, stories, and offer their works for sale—giving the opportunity for galleries, collectors and you to discover emerging artists alongside established artists. During open studios will be a special exhibit "LOOKING CLOSER: The Process of Antarctica" in Gallery 111. This exhibit, by artists Craig Kolb and Judith Bang-Kolb, reveals endlessly layered and breathtaking photos that penetrate the soul of Antarctica.
The ICB Artists Association is a large, vibrant and diverse community of talented artists in Sausalito, California. Located in a historic WWII-era industrial building, the lofts are home to artists working in all media, including painting, sculpture, photography, digital media, jewelry, printmaking, fiber arts and much more.
Twice a year we have open studios — Winter Open Studios falls on the first weekend of December each year, and in the spring, artists who are members of Marin Arts Council host a second open studios event.
