Oakland Art Gallery

The Oakland Art Gallery has teamed up with the Rhode Island School of Design to celebrate its Biennial Exhibition.

Exploring the full range of artistic expression, the RISD Biennial San Francisco 2008 honors and celebrates the work of Rhode Island School of Design alumni.  Begun in 2006 and now held every two years, the Biennial provides a prominent visual forum for RISD artists while deepening and extending our collective understanding of alumni work.  The exhibition brings work out of the studio and into the public realm, demonstrating the impact of RISD graduates on the dynamic terrain of the Bay Area art and design scene.

The juror for this exhibition will be Rene De Guzman.
