> DESCRIPTION
The Department of Art & Art History is pleased to present Age of Everything on view on January 15-February 24, 2008, with reception on February 14, from 5:30-7:30 PM at the Thomas Welton Stanford Art Gallery. The Age of Everything is an exhibition of artwork created by Stanford University's First Year MFA students. Reed Anderson, Michael Arcega, Kazumi Shiho, Cobi van Tonder and Jina Valentine present a group of works in diverse media that challenge viewers to assume novel roles as spectators. Together these works examine the generation and modification of meaning as it passes among visual, architectural, verbal and musical modalities.
