Extended Play is a series of live art performances and workshops by multidisciplinary artists working with sound, light, video, voice, installation, sculpture, dance and new technology. Through immersive environments, participatory experiments and amplified movements, these performances push the outer limits of the senses, reverberating the experience beyond the constraints of one evening. Over the course of five weeks, Southern Exposure will be transformed into an ever-shifting environment in which to experience these performances and participate in workshops exploring the ideas and impetus behind the works.
Video documentation of the previous weeks performances for Extended Play will be on view from May 27 - June 26, 2010, and is FREE and open to the public. Gallery Hours: Tuesday - Thursday + Saturday, 12 noon - 6:00 pm and Friday, 12:00 - 4:00 pm.
