In "Gravity Always Wins\," Claire Jackel's re-creation s of disasters personalize events that\, in a desensitized state\, we releg ate to the land of statistics. Her paper models depict the familiar (airpla nes\, buses\, trains\, suburban neighborhoods and city blocks) seen through a lens of fragility. The process is a meditation on issues of control\, de structive potential\, memory\, and social anxieties.
