Highlights from 03/06 Open Galleries
On March 6 downtown galleries hosted their monthly First Thursday openings. Some of the highlights included Jordan Eagles: New Blood Paintings at Mark Wolfe Contemporary Art: Also on display at the gallery were Colleen Quen and Jude Gabbard's fantastic couture creations. Sighted were artists Aaron Hegert and Joshzilla: Fraenkel Gallery hosting an impressive collection of Lee Friedlander's photos, America By Car: Tami Demaree and Matt Borruso at Steven Wolf Fine Arts is just as shocking and colorful as expected: Across the street at Gallery Paule Anglim are Enrique Chagoya's paintings. Be sure to watch the video works of Hung-Chih Peng in the back room.
