Lisa Gale Garrigues is a San Francisco based multi-discliplinary artist who currently works in photography, digital art, writing and videography. Her photojournalism has been published in Indian Country Today, Yes Magazine and other publications, and her photography and digital art have been exhibited at the Mission Cultural Center, Progressive Grounds and other venues. The upcoming 2014 Voices of Women Worldwide Girl-Child Calendar will feature two of her photographs. “In a busy world, the camera forces me to stop and see deeper into the essence of life around me, whether I am exploring another country or walking down the street where I live. My purpose as a visual artist is to honor the seen and bring the unseen to light.”
