CALL FOR ENTRIES DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MIDNIGHT 10 MARCH 2013
The Association of Illustrators (AOI) are extending the Call for Entries for the Illustration Awards 2013 to Midnight on Sunday 10 March 2013.
We are extending the deadline to manage the level of interest and demand we have received for the new Illustration Awards and ensure that all those illustrators wishing to enter have ample time to upload and pay for their entries. Please note that the entry fee for entries must be paid in full for the entry to be included in the competition.
We are delighted to be receiving a strong showing of entries from AOI members and the UK illustration community and entrIes from 17 countries across Europe, North America, Africa, Australasia and Asia.
There are eight categories for submissions: Advertising, Books, Children's Books, Design, Editorial and Social Comment, Public Realm, Research and Knowledge Communication, and Self-Initiated Projects.
This year's judges are professionals from the competition categories including creative directors and publishers from the world of advertising and publishing from McCann London, Bartle Bogle Hegarty, Random House, and Walker Books to designers, curators, and artistic directors from Royal Mail, Royal College of Art, V&A and Church of London.
We will be announcing the date for the awards night and dates of the exhibition run at Somerset House next week.
