Description
"My name is Jane and I you bugger me around" (Jane Birkin and Mickey 3D)
Title and image come together in suggestion. It is the spectator who makes the story, if he wants to.
Opposite to previous works, the abstract background is more present and plays a more important role in the composition. It might, at the same time, stimulate the spectator towards a story, or at least towards questioning why the forms are there. The abstract forms eliminate (not by accident) all reference to the geographical situation of the scene. It might be at the Djemaa el Fna square, in a Brussels suburb or downtown Paris. And maybe in a few hundred years, there won't be much difference anymore (between these places).
