Swing of Times
85 x 105 x 3 centimeters
Memories of a life in a land yearning its return in the swing of times.
Threads of raw canvas, gauzes often mixed with paper macheé are the media of Antonia Pozzoli’s art.
Gestures and colors trace familiar forms and profiles, sculpturing memories of a land fro light eons ago once inhabited by the soul, yearning for its return, in the midst of slowing changing and dissolving seasons.
The threads weave thoughts and by sewing sensations onto the canvas, telling stories and inviting the observer to merge with the texture and colors, as if immerging into the waters of a calm lake.
Remain in contemplation.
The mind journeys between arcane sensations and nested worlds, quenching the heart with profound serenity.
The informal expressionistic art of Antonia Pozzoli is above all spiritual. A walk within oneself that runs parallel to the Sutra, the thread which connects our inner world to the outer world, this world to the other world and to all the living beings on Earth.
The result is a conscious adventure of life.
