Description

Virgin Landscape is a shaped or[ sculpted] canvas construction created by shaping canvas over various armatures. It is white in color and extends out from the wall. It is painted in acrylic paint.

This work won first prize in the highly competitive, prestigious exhibit ; Art of the Northeast USA sponsored by the Silvermine guild of Artists,New Canaan Ct. Juror was Charlotta Kotik curator of Contemporary Art, Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn NY. Ms Kotik described the work as "highly original and expressive".

This work was also selected[ along with others ] by Barbara McAdams associate editor of Arts Magazine for a grant and solo exhibit at the New Art Center, New York City. in 2008.

This work will enhance any contemporary architectural setting.
