Praz-Delavallade will present in his second space, rue Duchefdelaville, a serie of erotics drawings part of his well known serie "Dream Drawings".
Jim Shaw began to inventory his dreams for several years, first by writing them down and then by recording them into a Walkman. In 1992 he initiated a serie of pencil drawings based on these dreams (approximately five hundred today). On identical 12- by 9-inch shets, each drawing is divided into sections, which sometimes overlap as in a comic strip. Accompanying each work is a text on the bottom or on the back of the page, in which Shaw recounts the action.
