2009 is finally here! 2008 was a beautiful year and one heck of a ride for me; being in the studio and finally completing a real album. It was like all my life, I was waiting for this dream to come true, just praying and hoping and working my butt off. I would get close, and then hit a wall, I would think I was almost "there" and then something wouldn't work out and I just didn't understand why. I realize now that my journey was like crossing a raging river on tiny grey stepping stones. I could see the bright green pasture at the other side, but I  kept falling off one slippery moss covered stone as I tried to get to the next stone. Sometimes I would lose my balance and consequently get my shoe and pant leg drenched. Then I'd have to wait for the sun to come out, dry off, and once again jump across to the next stone; all the while just looking ahead to that green pasture. It was all part of the process of becoming who I am today. There was a sort of beauty even in the struggle during my journey, and this is the reason I now feel bliss every day.

It's strange I tell you, when it all works out. It's the feeling that the world could be crumbling around you, but it doesn't even matter. I feel this innate peace and happiness in my spirit. It is all really happening, my album is coming out, I am going on tour this year and I am happy, regardless of the outcome. I am blessed to say that I am walking in my destiny and truly living my purpose.

I remember being five years old and saying "I want to be a singer when I grow up". I remember praying as a small child that God would allow me to do this for my life career. All those years, all those prayers, all that work, finally paid off. 

I present to you my 2009 debut album, "If Your Down" in stores January 15th on I-Tunes, Amazon MP3, Napster, Rhapsody, E-Music and LaLa. The hard copy of the CD will be available in stores by the end of March. We should also have a 2009 calendar, t-shirts, and posters available in the next 2 weeks. 

I will keep you guys posted on tour dates, as I plan to do the whole LA club tour in the next few months, and then after that open on a National tour for someone amazing.

Thank you all for believing in me. Sometimes it is the faith from others that gives you the wings to fly. I am honored to share with you my music.
