Labor Robert (b. 1937, St Denis Reunion Island, France)

Forty years of creativity, thoughts about art, through paintings and sculptures, teacher of visual art, Labor Robert qualified from Claude Bernard in Paris. He began painting at 17 years old .  Born on13th May,  1937, in St. Denis, on the Reunion island, he came to France in1959 and after studying mathematics, he fell into art as one falls in  love.

From 1970 to 1980 he was a cubist, expressionist and constructionist, and after investigating creations and discovereries, he elaborated a hybrid art "samplings".

He reflected currently in an expression of his protest,  of our contemporary society, in a manipulation of photographic images or paintings images  often performed by himself in the '70s till today. Photographs made in the form of print on art paper,  metal or plexiglass ... new inspiration that allows him to reread his own creation ... at first sight so diverse.

Education: Diploma of Design and Arts  Plastics - Claude Bernard, High School of Visual Arts, Paris.

Labor Robert is offering a variety of fine art prints for sale in the ArtSlant Salesroom (here)
