Trotting around Wynwood Friday night en route to the Wynwood Walls party with a friend, I passed by two men sitting outside a well lighted, small but professional kitchen, walls dripping with art. They invited us in, fed us chicken and quinoa and told us their story as people meandered in and out of the studio/kitchen wondering what was what: Friends, a French-American Artist, Paul Frank Wagner and Italian Chef, Aldo Dell’Anno, started something called “The Kitchen Project.” Combining their respective food and art into an event, the first evening was a huge success. Then they moved the idea further and went to Europe, cameraman in tow, documenting food and art along the way. Their first scheduled showings were so well received, Aldo and Paul are hoping to make this a more than one-shot video and see where it goes from here.  We looked at all the artwork from the trip on their walls as we munched on caterer/chef Aldo Dell’Anno’s quinoa/chicken offerings. You just never know who you’ll meet and what people are up to unless you get out there!
