Description

 3 figures :a encounter

Painting of my African period 1970_1983 years, one of my latest paintings of  that style.I had been inspired by a encounter: the encounter  of three women carrying a baby, a little panicked in the city, joining together side by side for better can protect themselves, what? of the unknown can be. I left very moved. Back into my studio of Tampon, I began to sketch and then I have gradually emerged towards   these articulated forms....while they maintain   their individuality,   the group  then stay  welded with  behind  it the amount of a wrought iron gate that looked like spears, africaines, a medieval side ... This painting was heavily inspired .I kept  it a long time this painting  that  decorated my living room all these years

This painting has allowed me to meet Dominique BOZZO the creator of the Picasso Museum, a reference in the field of ART? during his stay in Reunion Island some time before his death. He had done a glowing oral comment of this painting and we could talk for an hour about this work that he really liked ...
