Lauren Cazden

This Mixed Media Digital Painting was printed in my Venice Beach Art Studio on fine art satin paper with archival inks. It is professionally framed and ready to hang. An Old Painting was created by combining many original digital photographs together and then hand-painting them on my computer. I only produce one Exhibition Monoprint of every image I create, either on canvas or fine art paper and then both the digital files and/or negatives are destroyed. I hand-sign "Cazden" directly on the image and "Lauren Cazden" on the back, along with my thumb print, the year the painting was created and the title. The painting is Registered with the National Fine Art Title Registry and a Certificate Number has been issued for this painting. The signed Certificate will be affixed to the back of the painting when it is sold and shipped. An Old Painting has been displayed twice at the San Diego Art Institute, Museum of the Living Artist at both my solo show "Altered States" and their Regional Show in 2008. An Old Painting was also on display at the Amsterdam Whitney International Gallery in New York in 2007.
