Description

This work is created by cutting up my own past artworks and weaving them together again into a new form.  I was interested in the concept of an art community, and what that means, and how that in turn effects the rest of the non-art community.  I chose Brooklyn because of it's history as a hub for the arts, and created a sereis of woven pieces that loosely resembled the ethnic make-up of those neighborhoods deemed "artsy."
