Description
Abstract painting utilizing symbols and ideas from physics in a fanciful manner. Bold jewel toned colors in flat washes and flat painted areas are offset by highly textured impasto lines. Metallic geometric details suggesting crystallization, machinery, or lattice models finish the piece. The combination of thick textured lines and broad swaths of intense color gives the piece a tactile voluminous feeling.
There are Physics influences in "Dance of the Gauge Bosons", as the name suggests. Look for sine waves, resistors, spiral particle tracks, and diagrams (Feynman).
