I have been painting for over 40 years , classical realism, landscapes and some wildlife.  I paint in oil and acrylics.  I  have sold paintings throughout the United states and some in Europe.  I am formally trained and have also been an Art teacher in the past.  My paintings capture the raw beauty of nature and  the world around me. I use  a complex approach to painting, and employ " The Science of Painting" this is a systematic use of the many elements of composition,color and value.  This is a method I have perfected or continue to perfect.  For example A- Atmospheric separation, B- Balance etc. There are 26 leters in the alphabet and most of my work employs most of them , as they pertain to painting. I consider myself a color sepecialist and my work usually has 40-60 colors. My largest achievement is to have sold a painting at Christies East at auction in 1988. "Bridal Vale Falls"
