> DESCRIPTION

The International Center of Photography Museum has a collection of over 100,000 photographic works spanning the history of the medium from daguerreotypes to gelatin silver and digital chromogenic prints. The strongest aspects of the collection are American and European documentary photographs taken between the 1930's and 1990's.  The museum is one part of The International Center for Photography which also contains a school and publishing program.
