DESCRIPTION

Mission Statement:
East End Arts is committed to building and enriching our community through the arts by way of education, support, advocacy, and inspiration.

Overview:
The East End Arts Council is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit arts organization, with the mission of bringing the arts to everyone and to inspire our communities through support, advocacy and education. Established in 1972 as an outgrowth of the successful Woodrow Wilson Humanities Series, East End Arts now operates an art gallery and School of the Arts, which offers instruction in art, music and theater to all ages and abilities, impacting the East End community year-round.  East End Arts operates in three main locations: the East End Arts’ grounds in Riverhead, NY; Brecknock Hall in Greenport, NY; and Rosalie Dimon Gallery at Jamesport Manor Inn in Jamesport, NY. Signature annual events include: Community Mosaic Street Painting Festival (May), Teeny Awards (spring), Harvest Gospel Concerts Series (November) and Winterfest Jazz on the Vine (winter). The East End Arts Council relies on public and private foundation grant funding, as well as individual and corporate contributions to continue presenting arts opportunities to our region. The East End Arts Council is located at 133 East Main Street, Riverhead, NY.
