a. An establishment that displays and sells works of art.
What we're not:
b.A large room or building in which paintings, statues etc are on show.
The Brenda Taylor Gallery has been exhibiting the work of domestic and international artists since 1991. The gallery’s first location was on Newbury Street in Boston. We then moved to Soho in 1994, and finally settled in Chelsea in 1997.
Brenda Taylor offers complete art advisory services for artists. She provides guidance and career building services including gallery placement and individualized support for each artist and their specific goals.
Attending small-scale antique auctions with her great aunt and uncle as a child sparked Brenda Taylor’s interest in the arts. Since then her passion for art has only grown. Brenda has spoken as a guest lecturer at many academic institutions, which include: Brown University, University of Massachusetts, Cue Art Foundation and San Jose State University.
We are actively placing and locating art for specific projects while maintaining visibility by attending art fairs. Please note our new office is just that and we are no longer hosting exhibitions at this time.
