DESCRIPTION

DEAN PROJECT was established by Mark Dean with the opening of the gallery on September 2007. DEAN PROJECT’s original location consisted of a 2,000 sqft gallery building located directly behind the P.S.1/MoMA Museum in Long Island City. We are happy to announce that after three wonderful years in LIC the gallery will relocate to 511 West 25th Street in Manhattan.

Over the past three years DEAN PROJECT has exhibited at over thirty contemporary art fairs including FEMACO Mexico City, PULSE Miami, PULSE New York, NEXT Chicago, FIA Caracas Venezuela, CIRCA Puerto Rico, Art Palm Beach, Toronto TIAF, San Francisco Art Fair and Scope Basel, London, Hamptons, New York and Miami. From the time the gallery opened our program has consisted of sixteen public exhibitions to date including solo, group and our annual independent curated summer invitational.

Selected gallery press includes Bazaar, W Magazine, Harpers, WWD, Elle Decor, Wall Street Journal, The Art Newspaper, New York Times, ARTINFO, artnet, Artillery LA, ARTES, Art Nexus, Hamptons, Kuwait City Al-Watan Daily, Arab Times, Kuwait Times, UAE Gulf News, El Universal, El Nacional, Globovision, BBC, Showtime and MTV/Vh1.
