Dalia & David Chako, and their son Skylor Brummans founded the Icosahedron Gallerie in 2004.
This Visionary Family is on a mission, wishes “to restore art to the sanctuary, the solace, the anodyne, the place between places that affords each soul a private liberty."
Combining music with art, and making the gallery "an environment" beyond the visual. Icosahedron has also been recognized as a musical venue, housing a Steinway Grand Piano that is one of the best concert pianos in the City, and hosting concerts frequently from evenings of Authentic New Orleans Jazz to Operatic arias.
This gallery is truly an "experience" not just a place to come and see paintings, but one where people are transformed for a moment, into another world that used to exist 30 years ago, when one had time after work to go to a gallery, or to go and hear music and to be inspired and to meet others to speak of such things that made you feel like you reminded yourself of what is important and wonderful about this world, before you ended your day.
