571 Projects

571 Projects is a nomadic curatorial project that grew out of a gallery space in Chelsea.  New York City-based independent curator Sophie Brechu-West and 571 Projects specialize in promoting dynamic underrepresented emerging and mid-career artists through solo exhibitions. 571 Projects seeks to bridge the gap between these dynamic artists and engaged collectors, both those beginning to collect and those looking for fresh talent.  To support the work of significant artists, 571 Projects provides a forum through tightly curated solo exhibitions that showcase a single body of work, and select group shows.  Brechu-West received her BA from The College of William and Mary and her MPhil in Contemporary Art and Connoisseurship from Christie’s Education in London.
