Moesart and its consultants follow museum standards and practices. A hands-on approach is employed to provide custom solutions sensitive to the client and at the same time respectful to the integrity of the object under our care. Moesart is experienced in handling paintings and sculpture, prints and drawings, fine furniture and antiques, rare books and autograph music manuscripts.

FINE ART APPRAISAL

Appraisals* conform to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices (USPAP) and use the comparable market value approach.  Moesart specializes in appraisals of Twentieth-century American works and late Nineteenth and Twentieth-century European painting.

Appraisals are for the purpose of estate planning, charitable contributions,  gift tax, and insurance.

* Appraisals are based upon an hourly fee plus expenses.  At no time is an appraisal based upon the value of the item/s appraised.
