Organized by Andres Bedoya and Sarvia Jasso since 2008, Brooklyn is Burning (BiB) is a video and performance event that has been produced at various locations in New York, along with ancillary presentations in Los Angeles and La Paz, Bolivia. Borrowing its name from the cult film documentary Paris is Burning, BiB is invested in stimulating a community of creative individuals who share an interest in the various meanings and experiences of sexuality and identity.
