Robert Whitman’s exhibition, Turning, explores the light, movement, and space of planetary experience. Footage gathered from NASA and the YOHKOH satellite was modified and the final results are to be projected onto manipulated fabric or large orbs that hang from the gallery ceiling and measure four to five feet in diameter.

Coosje van Bruggen has written the essay for the accompanying catalogue.
