> DESCRIPTION
Large Field Array is a large-scale multi-media installation made up of hundreds of individual sculptures that relate to one another through science, politics, sociology and/or mathematics, which are then distributed over the gallery’s floor and walls.
Tyson has remarked, “Each one of the pieces is the sum of all the possible forces acting upon it. Each sculpture is basically the result from things around it.”
Large Field Array has previously been exhibited at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Humlebæk and the De Pont Museum of Contemporary Art, Tilburg.
