FREE RANGE

2009 RISD MFA sculpture graduates

WORK is pleased to present FREE RANGE, a group show of 2009 RISD MFA Sculpture Graduates. Please join the artists for an Opening Reception on Saturday September 12, 2009.

Featuring work by MAYAN ALCANTARA, KELLY GOFF, CASEY LYNCH, MONICA MARTINEZ, ERIN PERRY, STEVE SILBER, DANA WILLIAMS and BOWIE+EVE.

FREE RANGE explores a varied approach to art production, shaped by the incongruous biographies of the graduates. Diverse backgrounds in civil engineering, public school education, Marine Corps anti-terrorism, and cancer survival, among others, contribute to the group's multi-disciplinary range of objects, installation, video, and participatory works.

FREE RANGE will be on display at WORK through Monday, September 21, 2009.
