ARTERED-- An evening of affordable art
and cocktails for social change
ARTERED will provide a night of affordable art and cocktails to raise
funds that will further develop and implement an art program for children
affected by violence and the armed conflict in rural areas of Colombia, South
America.
This exhibition is made possible with the support of artist Christopher
Totaro, who will present his most
recent body of work at an affordable price starting from ten dollars and up the
night of the event. This is an effort to make art accessible to everyone and at
the same time, contributing towards a social cause.
Established in January 2008, ARTERED’s mission is to develop and support
art programs that contribute towards the development of communities. On this
occasion, ARTERED is raising funds to further the development of an art program
aimed at a community where children do not have access to the arts. ARTERED
strongly believes that the arts are an essential tool that can be used to
alleviate poverty and social disadvantages. The main focus of the program is to
provide these children with the opportunity to express their inner emotions
through creative art while providing a safe environment that nurtures their
creativity. For
more information please visit the organization’s website: www.artered.org. The
site offers in-depth information about ARTERED’s programming interests. To view
